The official start and end times ensure that children spend 32.5 hours in school each week (including breaks but not after-school activities). This is the expected length of the school week set by the Government and it is very important that children are in school for their full 32.5 hours.  

Top tips for top attendance      

1. Please take family holidays in the school holidays – holidays during term time will result in a fine from the Local Authority (£160 per child for each parent, or £80 if paid within 21 days).
2. Please call the School Office (01638 662835) before 9.00am if your child is unwell or unable to attend school.
3. If your child has any worries about school, please bring them in and talk with a member of staff.
4. Please make medical appointments outside school hours, but if this is not possible, please give school a copy of the appointment letter so that we can authorise the absence.
