Wellbeing & Mental Health
At All Saints’ CE Primary School, we believe that supporting children’s wellbeing is an essential part of helping them to flourish.
Jesus said that he came to bring “life in all its fullness”, and this belief shapes the way we support the emotional, social and mental wellbeing of our whole school community.
Supporting Positive Mental Health
We want every child to feel safe, valued and supported, with the confidence and resilience to manage challenges, build positive relationships and make the most of the opportunities available to them.
Mental health affects the way we think, feel, learn, communicate and respond to change.
Just as we look after physical health, we believe it is important to actively support emotional wellbeing and positive mental health throughout school life.
Building Resilience
At All Saints’, we help children develop the skills they need to:
- Understand and express their emotions.
- Build confidence and self-esteem.
- Develop positive relationships.
- Manage change and challenges.
- Ask for help when they need it.
- Develop strategies for coping with difficult situations.
