The School Day
Find information about the structure of the school day at All Saints’, including opening times, registration, lessons, breaks and the end of the school day.
Please ensure children arrive in good time so they are ready to begin their learning promptly.
School times and attendance
Start of the school day
Gates open: 8.25am
Learning begins: 8.35am
Children should arrive before 8.35am so they are settled and ready to learn.
End of the school day
School finishes: 3.05pm
These start and finish times provide a 32.5-hour school week, including breaks.
Attendance reminders
- Please telephone the School Office on 01638 662835 before 9.00am if your child is unwell or unable to attend.
- Please arrange medical appointments outside school hours wherever possible. If this is not possible, provide the appointment letter so the absence can be authorised.
- Family holidays should be taken during school holidays. Term-time absence may result in a Local Authority penalty notice.
- If your child has any worries about school, please bring them in and speak with a member of staff so we can help.
Wraparound care (Early Birds and Twilights ) is available from 8:00 am until school starts and from 3.00pm until 5.45pm. Please see the information below or contact the School Office.
