Mathematics helps pupils make sense of patterns, quantity, space and change. At All Saints’, children are encouraged to approach mathematical ideas with curiosity, confidence and perseverance.
What pupils develop
Pupils build secure number knowledge, practise efficient methods and explain their reasoning. They apply what they know to unfamiliar problems and learn that mistakes can be a valuable part of successful learning.

Concepts are introduced in a clear sequence and revisited regularly, helping pupils connect new learning with what they already understand.
