Creating, communicating and staying safe with technology
Computing equips pupils to understand and use technology confidently and responsibly. Children learn how digital systems work, how to create with technology and how to make safe choices online.
What pupils develop
Learning includes computational thinking, programming, digital creativity, information handling and online safety. Pupils are encouraged to solve problems logically and evaluate the digital content they encounter.
Progression across the school
Skills are developed progressively through practical tasks that allow children to apply technology purposefully across the curriculum.
